FIRST AID/CPR / AED for LAY RESPONDER INSTRUCTOR COURSE

Cost $175.00

This course prepares candidates to teach the following American Red Cross courses: Adult, Infant, Child CPR, First Aid, and Automated External Defibrillation.

The focus is on proficiency in CPR/AED/First Aid skills, as well as proper classroom setup, presentation, administrative procedures and equipment maintenance.

A passing grade of 80% or higher is required for certification.

Students become certified in CPR/AED and First Aid on the first day of the course. Students who are already certified still need to attend this first-day skills session, both as a refresher and to observe it being taught.

Course is approximately 28 hours. Student must attend and successfully complete all sessions in order to become certified.
